AVANTA RPLH M:B (Model B) is a modernized version developed in 1987 based on the 1969 RPLH.

The M:B is a revised version of the 1969 RPLH, the main changes to the model are:

• Digital displays
• Powerful engines
• Front and rear radar installation
• External fuel tanks
• Fuselage elongation

The plane continues its function based aerial reconnaissance at high altitude.

• SAR (search and rescue)
• Drop supplies which attach to either of the two anchor points where the external fuel tanks go
• Surveillance
• Visual support
