My first attempt at a seaplane, the S-1 Beaver has range of about 80 miles at 75% throttle. Flaps on VTOL slider. To take off, set flaps to the first triangle down and trim to full climb pitch. Give her full throttle and rotate at 75mph! Watch out for aileron reversal when you drop the flaperons to maximum extension!

A little hard to take off
Overall good
Nice build! I took all the fuel out of the wings and it took off just fine! Flys like a peach.
@Clawsome It's not easy! You can also reduce the fuel load a little bit :)
Ya. Maybe I just don't have the skill to get it off the water. @GrahamSimmons
@Clawsome Cheers. Rotation speed is 75mph with stock engine power! You can't get it to that speed without the flap and trim tweaks above though.
It's not supposed to be fast, it has the real-life power and weight of a DHC-2 :)
I had to increase the engine power by 100 hp to take off, but after that, it flew beautifuly. Well done.
