The KBR-17 is a modification of the KBR-15, with many new components and polymers used to reduce weight. This particular weapon is the -C variant, or the compact variant. It is essentially the Scandinan Union's M4.
There are also two other common variants, the A and B. However, the C is most common.
The weapon is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and uses a direct infringement action. The weapon can use any AR-15/M4/M16 magazine.
