@ToeTips
Here are my answers:
For the first one. It wasn't supposed to. SP auto connections are just painfully inaccurate and ruins a build
For the second one, you can easily adjust the caster angle of a car that's designed to do so without much issues and the car will still run fine
For the 3rd one, yes. Although you will have to take into consideration the compressing under load of the control bases if not done correctly, and that the Y-Axis is unremovable which can make suspension design tricky, somehow
For the 4th one, yes. The shorter your spring as per adjusted in XML, the smaller the travel with little to no stiffness change
@LowtusF139
I noticed your bottom wish bones were connected to each other and not the car, is there any specific reason why? What advantages does mechanical steering have? Is it possible to make a system entirely out of control bases? Does affecting the xml size affect the suspension travel?
@ToeTips Why? Alot of them looks out-of-time and i wanted to clean up my profile
Also, ask away about your suspension questions
Also why did you delete your past builds? I was about to go on an up vote run
Okay, I haven't driven it yet but I have to say... This is just raw eye candy, I feel like I could use hours just looking and admiring all the details, like there just so much to look at that's aesthetically pleasing, genuine car p*rn right here. Also I have seen your push rod suspension and I think I see the mistakes my newer version had, particularly with the setup and control bases, definitely learned a lot upon first look so thanks for that. But I have some(or quite a few) question concerning your setup.
On sorry, but how can you delete all your cars lol. You had so many good ones that I would still download!
Epic!
