The Rutan Model 202 Boomerang is an aircraft designed and built by Burt Rutan. The design was intended to be a multi-engine aircraft that would not become dangerously difficult to control in the event of failure of a single engine. The result is an asymmetrical aircraft with a very distinct appearance.
As with any asymmetrical build, the controls and weight balance are rather tricky to dial in. Initial throttling up and quick maneuvers cause a bit of drifting to the right.

1,015 Acer500It flew! XD Takeoff was a bit awkward with the strong rightward pull, but you countered this well with turnable wheels. I also made the pitch control surfaces slightly larger for myself to get a better turning radius. Thanks for the plane :)9.8 years ago
