RAE P-37 Dragon
I forgot to add air intakes lol
My 2nd experiment with fuselage wings + a challenge entry.
Some info:
The XP-37 was originally designed with tractor type landing gear but it had landing problems where the contra-rotating prop hits the ground when braking, killing a number of test pilots. The problem almost killed the project but a solution was found. Using tricycle type landing gear and moving the engine to the middle fuselage like the American P-39 and P-63, landing problems were eliminated. The P-37, given the official nickname "Dragon", entered service as a multirole plane capable of fighter-bomber and interceptor duties. Armed with four 20mm cannons and a wide assortment of payload under wing mounts, this beast can carry lots of weapons.
It is powered by a "Phobos" turboprop engine that produces 2000hp.
Controls/Instructions:
AG1- activate guns
AG2- nav lights
AG3~7- launch rockets
- mysteriously slides to the right on takeoff so be careful.
Enjoy!
Ps. The Crusader will be coming probably tomorrow or next week so stay tuned!
