R-710 Orbital Shuttle

53.5k Ephwurd  8.1 years ago

The AstroLabs R-710 is a domestic orbital shuttle used to transport cargo and passengers to and from orbit. Its ion hyperdrives allow it to reach orbit with minimum fuel consumption and its nanoweave thermal-ceramic armor allows it to reenter a planet multiple times without taking any significant damage. Its only drawback is its slow acceleration and deceleration.

@JetFighter I have seen a few planes from Ace Combat (Fenrir, Morgan, CFA-44, Gliepnir), but I haven't played those games yet. I have heard of the Arkbird but I haven't seen it yet.

@LAGDragon well this shuttle is made to be flown on a daily basis, kind of like an airplane.

@Ephwurd I Think so, they have to be capable of a really fast stop. They also have parachutes. That is what I think and know, but I have not studied NASA's shuttle program enough to find out.

@LAGDragon do space shuttles have airbrakes? Thanks though! And yes, it is modded (engines, fuel and scale)

Is it Modded? I think it is, and it's really well done, the look futuristic and aerodynamic. It goes fast. All it needs is airbrakes

@JoddyFubuki788 mass scaling messes with infinite fuel, they don't go well together

@FennVectorCWA that one was fatter though and had a flat nose

My plane was about 20,000kg, so i think we can by zeroing the mass scales on some vital points. @Ephwurd
You mean Valkyrie obrital shuttle? @FennVectorCWA
