The Geshundcat G-41 is a fictional German-Canadian mid-sized high speed passenger catamaran that is based on a dream I had 2 days ago, operates from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland, has large fins like a hydrofoil, and can tilt like an airplane.
Power comes from two 1000+ horsepower Gesner G11 turbo-compound engines (copies of the Detroit Diesel Series 60, specifically the 11.9 version fitted with Mercedes cylinder heads and powering a connected turbine engine) that power two waterjets, allowing the vessel to reach up to 45 miles per hour on the water.
