John Deere 4430 puller
I was playing around with the JD 4430 I made for WalrusAircraft and I came up with this modified tractor pull version. I added weight brackets, changed the engine, and added wheelie bars as required by the NATPA. Are there any more tractor pullers out there? Please let me know! Enjoy.
VTOL 100% to start. It has three gears. VTOL engages first gear, ACT1 engages second gear, and ACT1 & 2 engage third gear. It gets 3-4 miles per hour in 1st, 5-6 miles per hour in 2nd, and up to 30 miles per hour in third. I don't know how that happened, but you may need to hold the pitch lever down to help reduce bouncing. It is really difficult to drive safely this fast, so be careful. Try not to drive downhill in third. Use yaw to steer.
There's more to come...

16.2k LordofLego@WalrusAircraft Why DID they have to switch to Unity 5? And tighter rotators and pylons sound good, I've had problems with those being too bendy anyway. Should make your Big Roy work better. That upgrade is due next weekish already?9.3 years ago

109k WalrusAircraft@LordofLego - Remember that the Devs had the tough challenge of upgrading to Unity 5, which totally destroyed most of the planes. To fix this, they had to tighten up all the parts. Rotaters and pylons don't bend as much, so they are going to release a spring (damper) into the game. Again, nothing is guaranteed since everything has to work on mobile. We will have to see.9.3 years ago

109k WalrusAircraft@LordofLego - Yes, I've seen some of the new things, but can't get into it here. There are some very cool new things coming to SP that will blow you away. I don't know if those pens will be part of the update next week(ish) or in the Steam release update, but I believe they will make it into the game.9.3 years ago

16.2k LordofLego@WalrusAircraft Maybe if it doesn't work with the update there will be some good replacement parts... Wait, did you say "U-Boat pens"?9.3 years ago

109k WalrusAircraft@LordofLego - Some of our work (this is Walrus Sr. talking) blows up in beta as well. The Liberty Ship is an example. Other ships, like the Mikasa work just fine. Actually, Kevin Murphy (WeeBabySemus) tested all our boats in Beta as well to ensure they fit in the U-Boat pens that are coming out soon with the update. I guess you will have to wait and see. If things don't work well, you can have fun building them up again. :-)9.3 years ago

16.2k LordofLego@WalrusAircraft I don't know what I'd have that's clipped in there, I'm afraid. I don't know how to do that other than by accident. Unless it's the exhaust pipe and some of my other part rotation tricks? I hope those don't stop working in the update, or there will be a lot of super cool, defunct planes...9.3 years ago

109k WalrusAircraftIt's cute! Walrus Jr. and Sr. here and we just tried it out. Works well in the game and we attempted to plow the field. I'm afraid to say the farmer dies in the beta version since it blows up on the spot. Those rotaters are the culprit. Beta is less forgiving of clipping those parts.9.3 years ago
