Sterne-Labor J-4 schwebenflugzeug

36.2k DbE  6.2 years ago

The J-4 is a fairly new type of aircraft. It is a VTOL, a flying wing, and a multi role fighter, who knew they could all be in one! Designed in 2029, it has a cost of 25 million per aircraft. It's arsenal of weapons contains 8x attachment points (4 on each side) and a single 20mm rotary cannon. (the interceptor missiles are placeholders, not usual armament)

Take off and landing procedures

take off: To take off in the J-4, put the VTOL to maximum. Wait until about 500ft+ off the ground. Then increase throttle to desired amount and wait a few seconds. lower VTOL to mid and wait until it is not outputting thrust AT ALL, then you can deactivate the gyro with AG8. (keep on the controls, it can be a bit unstable at take off)

Landing procedure

once near landing area, lower thrust and speed to 300-400mph, then raise VTOL to maximum and turn on AG8. Play with VTOL and your gyro until you can get a good decent rate and head to your landing area. (gyro also has roll, yaw, and pitch controls) once you are over the desired landing spot, make sure you have a good decent rate. Once you touch down lower VTOL all the way and you have landed! Good job pilot.
