The Globe Swift was a civilian leisure plane designed to appeal to the pilots coming home from WWII. With that market in mind it was basically a two seat side by side miniature fighter plane. Fun to fly and economical. Some pilots even claimed the swift handled similarly to the P-40 war-hawk they flew during the war.
The Swift was also a big leap in construction technology for planes in it's class, with an all metal fuselage and wings it was high tech compared to the tube and cloth offerings of the time.
Landing: decelerate to 27% throttle dropping the flaps gradually as you slow it likes to land at around 100mph
Flaps: VTOL

Ya, James I had this thing sitting half done for a year. It had some wack flight characteristics I couldn't fix. I figured it out to day and pushed it to the finish line.
