Scavenger Shotgun
My entry for FGW2014's Scrap-Yard Challenge. A simple, slam-fire 12-gauge shotgun. A weapon of incredible simplicity which could be realistically made in a scrapyard. It is fired by jamming the barrel, and by extension, the shotgun shell, into the receiver's fixed firing pin. Such a weapon is incredibly crude, and often sees use with insurgents, terrorists, or criminals. This example is unique in that it features a rudimentary safety; the metal tab at the bottom can be swung up and tied to the barrel unit, and is positioned in such a way that the barrel's breech is not in contact with the firing pin. The white stripe painted on the top of the receiver unit is presumably the weapon's only sight. Given the (very) short effective range, it's not a bad one.

@Pilotmario alright, good to know
No. It’s a safety advisory.
This shotgun is probably about as dangerous to the user as it is to the guy on the other end. @FGW2014
@Pilotmario is that a threat xD
@FGW2014 On second thought, don't test it if you value your life.
