@Pilotmario That would be even larger than the hangar of the game :3

@Halphas Sounds good! A 600-foot long ship would break the game.

@Pilotmario I will build it in 1:2 scale, is it ok?

@Halphas You're welcome! I think this means three different ships now.

Three different opportunities to farm upvotes.

The original configuration with 20 5"/38 caliber DP guns in ten mounts (four port, four starboard, one bow behind forward turrets, one aft behind rear turret), eight 40mm Bofors in two quad-mounts, and 16 20mm Oerlikon cannon in four quad mounts (two on each side), the Scarlett Academy modification (which removed four of the port and starboard 5"/38 caliber guns and replaced all 40mm and 20mm guns with 20 37mm L/90 cannon in ten two-gun mounts, five on each side, and revised the AAA fire control to accommodate for the new weapons), and Paternian modernization (which removed all of the 5"/38 caliber, 40mm Bofors, and 20mm Oerlikon cannons in favor of Sea Guardian VLS missile tubes where the fore and aft 5"/38 mounts would have been, four 5"/54 DP guns with two guns facing port and two guns facing starboard, and four Phalanx CIWS, with two on each side of the ship).

You could do the Scarlett Academy variant, while I can make the modifications for the PRN original and modernization.

@Halphas Sure! The ships when delivered had the 20mm and 40mm AA cannons, which were good guns.

However, they had the issue that they were the only ships that used the 20mm and 40mm, and they weren't standard. So they were replaced by 37mm L/90. They also got different gun directors for the 37mm L/90 guns.

@Pilotmario And for my own version, I prefer to use my own 37mm L/90 AA cannon, I wonder if it is ok.

@Pilotmario I see, though I consider 5 127mm guns on each side may be too much :3

@Halphas Well, the missiles were added to modernize it and provide it some self-defense ability.

We could commission the ships in our fleets.

Your design would follow closer to the original configuration of the North Point-class, with ten 5"/38 cal dual-purpose batteries (5 on each side), alongside multiple 40mm and 20mm anti-aircraft gun emplacements. It would also have a seaplane catapult featuring a floatplane variant of the Pummeler.

My design would be a modification of yours, known as the Honolulu-class. The main armament has been retained, although featuring a revised mast with modern radar systems. The 10 5"/38 cal dual-purpose batteries have been eliminated in favor of four modern dual-purpose 5"/54 caliber guns, two on each side. The 40mm and 20mm anti-aircraft guns would have been completely deleted, in favor of short-range anti-aircraft missiles in VLS systems and four 20mm Phalanx CIWS systems, two on each side.

Story to explain the difference? Four ships were made in Paternia Iron Works. The four ships served with the Paternian Navy, and the two oldest (North Point, Stockholm) were transferred to the Scarlett Academy. The newer ships (Honolulu, Casablanca) were retained by the Paternian Navy. The Paternian Navy would modernize their ships to make them more useful in fleet actions. Similar modernizations were not done by the Scarlett Academy due to the fact that they intended to employ them for fire support.

@Pilotmario But would you mind if I remove the missiles?

@Pilotmario Well, I wonder if you mean a rebuild or build it again from scratch?

@Halphas I want to see if you could make another ship of mine: the North-Point-class medium cruiser.

It's basically a light cruiser with 8" guns but the armor to protect it against 6" shells and mobility characteristic of a light cruiser.
