Auto Credit Based on Aarav's ~World Dominancy Challenge~

Heavy cruiser

It’s a rather small heavy cruiser with ok fire power and some float planes, it is also relatively durable, it can survive hits from most small caliber guns and missiles, unfortunately it can not recover it’s float planes after launch

Controls:
1. 8 inch A set
2. 8 inch B set
3. 5 inch Flak
4. Float plane 1 controls
5. Float plane 2 controls
6. None
7. Ship turning
8. Auto cannons and machine guns
Trim: speed

Here is how to launch a float plane:
There is a gray button on the nose of the plane (in front of the canopy) click it to launch the plane

Gun controls:

8 inch:
yaw = horizontal
VTOL = vertical

5 inch:
Auto aim

Auto cannon and machine guns
Auto aim

Plane controls:

Normal plane controls (Pitch, Roll, and Yaw)

The plane is really easy to send into a flat spin so be careful when flying

There are some issues with the speed, it tops out at 70 knots and I have no idea how to limit it, just pretend it can only go 36 knots

some stuff:

This took over 5 hours to build, probably longest time I spent on anything except the CVX-101, Kiev class, and the Royal Oak

Still haven’t found a way to make the turrets normal and not spin around uncontrollably and make the ship basically unusable

Somehow I have a feeling that this ship will get like 3 upvotes and then no one will see this again and I wasted around 5 hours of my life for nothing because it always happens when I make something that I am almost able to be proud of, and to add to that the thumbnail looks horrible, + bad upload time

please upvote if u see this and think it is reasonably well built

Spotlights

I think something is wrong with the turrets because they constantly swing around and never stop. Other than that, and imagining it with the weapons control of the other ships you built. Pretty cool! If you really want more upvotes for your builds though, I would follow some of the advise here. Don’t post so frequently, people like to see variations in build style and build types on their page. I can always instantly tell when a build is yours or when another player is posting several builds in one week just from the design. I personally don’t mind this but for some reason, i think it makes people think it’s a low effort build and they will be less likely to upvote. However, the main thing that I find gets lots of upvotes is build quality. Having a build function either extremely realistically tends to get great results. Also, having extreme detail, even without realistic flight characteristics, is also a great way to get points. Something that is especially aesthetically pleasing also seems to do well but that usually has to be paired with realistic flight characteristics. Having a mix of all of these is of course the best but that takes a lot of time (which is why I pretty much stopped uploading builds). However, if you have a high part count plane with extreme realism in its handling, you will find that you’ll get a lot of upvotes, but not many downloads because not everyone can handle such a build on their device or they find it too complex and annoying to fly/use. Lots of trade-offs but it’s what I have noticed in my years of SimplePlanes

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes btw I’m gonna have even more free time when break comes so I’m probably gonna spam builds, I find it hard to control my self not to

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes I find it very hard to make quality

@Yourlocalhuman yeah, and your point proves that you and Hiimakeplanes focus on quantity more, which is why you guys don’t receive much upvotes per build, but as a whole the points stack up, which is the point I’m trying to bring up.
I’m not judging you guys or anything; everyone has their own methods of earning points. I’m just explaining why this situation may be the case.

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes also i mass produce stuff unlike any platinum users do, less upvotes maybe, but combine all the numbers of upvotes i got in the last 3 days and you got the real numbers

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes for a platinum user who get into platinum by challenges and not actual builds? Yes bro, its really that much (Also if not because the war challenge my title would be probably gold)

@Yourlocalhuman you get at most 10 upvotes per build, which for a platinum user like you, isn’t much.

@Hiimakeplanes in my opinion, the reason why you’re lacking upvotes is because you post too frequently. You may have a lot of free time, and you’re joining a war challenge, but the thing is that you’re posting 1-2 uploads per day. Very few people want to keep upvoting your stuff on a daily basis, and eventually they just don’t bother to upvote. So that’s why you don’t get many upvotes per build.
Besides, once you post a new build, very few people are going to look at your previous build, because people only like the newest things. And with you posting a new craft 12 hours after the previous one, most of your upvotes will happen within that 12-hour frame. This is why I personally try to space out my post dates, keeping them at least 1 week apart, or at the very minimum, 2 days apart, so that I can “squeeze” the greatest possible number of upvotes out of them.
I don’t expect you to quit the war challenge, but I’m just telling you that this is why your builds don’t have many upvotes, and it’s up to you to decide what to do with this advice.
@Yourlocalhuman, the same thing applies to you.

@Yourlocalhuman should I spend a whole week working on a battleship?

Maybe because your build is kind of "lacking" details its easily forgotten, also maybe i'd test this later since im working on a destroyer
