History

A..... A LIGHT TANK?!?!?!"
This tank starts off with a tank older than the MDA, the M9 Grant, althought the Chassis of this vehicle isn't built by me, or based on the M9 Grant, just wait for it.

The M9 Grant would never see service with the MDA, or in General.
Howbitzer
The next vehicle is what gave way to this idea, the M73 "Kicker" SPH.

Originally developed by Australia as a replacement for the M44, the M73 carried a modified 5in gun from a Fletcher class destroyer. This SPH would only see service in the STL War during the first battle of Bandit. The M73 Kicker would see use alongside the M72 Crocodile SPG.
New tank
For the next tank we have to go to a completely different style of building, and a completely different creator, TitanicBuff's Panther Aufs D wannabee tank, the Cheetah and the Cheetah F1.

The Cheetah and Cheetah F1 were TitanicBuff's Panther tank wannabees, made to counter the Excelsior MK2 MBT, the Cheetah was a tank captured near the end of the TB war and was considered obsolete by the time it was planned. The Cheetah F1 was a prototyped tank by @Imperialndustries that was replacing the gun with a longer, more potent variant.
Combining the Cheetah and the Kicker
The Cheetahs captured after the TB war were placed into engineer areas for evaluation and deemed "Unfit for major MBT on MBT" roles, so they were held on for long range anti-tano roles. Then the need for a urban SPH came in due to the unreliability of the M73 Kicker.

Overview
The MDA-S Romanic (named for a ship in a game I play) was built with urban combat in mind.


It is powered by a single 6 cylinder petrol engine, the same one used on the original Cheetah and carries a single 155mm MK1503 cannon for building demolition. It has a crew of nine, those being: One Driver, One Commander, One Main Loader, One Gunner, Two Ready Rack Loaders, Two Radio Operators, and One Range Finder.
