F-19c "Marvel"
The F-19 was born out of a need to beat the Soviet Unions new superior fighter: the MiG-30. While the MiG-30 was good, the F-19 was much better. Developed by Grumman, this multirole fighter can carry 4 ATA missiles, 2 ATG missiles, and 14 rockets. It’s equipped with a 20mm GE M61 Vulcan under the nose of the aircraft. The main feature is one revisited by Grumman; variable sweep or swing wing. The wings go as far back as 70 degrees. Instead of having missiles on the underbelly, the missiles are attached on pylons that swing with the wing. Maneuverability is amazing compared to the MiG-30. This version, the C variant, is used for naval purposes while the A variant is the runway queen. The B version is hidden by the US government but it’s most likely a stealth fighter hidden from the U.S.S.R.
Overall, I hope you enjoy this one. I’ve been working pretty hard on this guy and I’m glad to finally get this guy out to the public eye. This is probably my favorite aircraft I’ve made.
CONTROLS:
AG1 to toggle sweep
AG2 for arresting cable
