Rene Leduc was a french aircraft designer who focused on the use of ramjets, his work was during WW2 and put on hold due to certain pesky Germans and their occupation of France.... Now for all the work that he undertook including the testing and flying of prototypes, there was never an actual aircraft produced for service with the French airforce... until now =)
So I used some of the basic design features of his aircraft and made my own fighter.
VTOL up for airbrakes
VTOL down for flaps and slats
AG1 for reheat
LG for landing gear and AG2 for LG doors
Armed with 2 20mm Aden Cannon and 2 Redtop missiles (joint venture with the RamboJutter Ltd British company after all)
Whoosh

@RamboJutter That would have been cool!
@RamboJutter got it, but if you're going to build more of those prototypes try to keep it as a feature, it drastically increases realism!
@LeonardoEngineering nose has mass and some little wings to help fly so when a detached is used between it and the rest it wobbles about....
@RamboJutter why? That would have been so cool!
@Mumpsy well I was going to make the wholenise section ejectable, but like the f111 but sp physics annoyed me so I reverted to a standard system:)
@LeonardoEngineering I could swear it’s just the word for ragu that comes from Bologna.
@Mustang51 fun fact, bolognese is actually an American invention, and we do not even put meatballs in our pasta here 😂
Anyway, didn't Leduc have this really big fascination with Ramjets?
😂@Mustang51
lol.@Mumpsy
@Mumpsy would make more sense if that design was Italian because it would have essentially been a large and expensive Bolognese maker hahaha
Great stuff as usual! @RamboJutter
@Hedero @Mustang51 Yes the Leduc 0.22. What would ejecting from that aircraft be like? Woops! Sucked through!
This is fantastic! It really looks like what they hoped would come out of the Leduc 0.22 (or how I would envision it at least). Beautiful!
absolutely sublime . VERY GREAT JOB . i LOVE IT .
Dang that's sick! I love the inlet concept. I believe there was a propellor/ducted fan experimental aircraft like this.
