The Alpacha project was for a propeller aircraft with very long operation range, decent speed, heavier payloads, and a single pilot instead of 6+ crew members. The aircraft that was born from this is named “SRL ALPACHA” as for no axis powers to find anything out of the ordinary in case of a raid. the aircraft carries two 560 pound bombs, and is armed with three 12.7 milimeter machine guns. The First machine gun is located in the center of the engine (similar to a BF 109) the gun fires out the front nose cone on the prop engine. the other two are on the wings. The engine has 2100+ HP and 3000 rpm it is a Lackard and Pete 18 cylinder radial engine. inside the cockpit there is everything the pilot would need to fly in groups just like america did with the b-17s. Only much more Alpacha’s were made because of being cheap to manufacture, durable in flight, and are easy to repair. around 2 million Alpachas were produced to help italian forces during the second world war. To fly this plane it is relatively easy. the red switch fires up the engine, and the two switches on the right of it activate the navigation lights, and also turns the saftey off allowing the guns to be fired, and the bombs to be dropped. The eject payload button is only to be pressed when in emergency and there is a fire on the plane, ejecting the bombs keeps them from exploding due to the heat burning the powder inside the shell.
