History

this is the F-86 Sabre. this plane was a powerful plane against its main enemy, the mig-15 in which it fought over mainly during the korean war. overall, in the korean war the F-86 scored an average 10:1 Kill/Death ratio over enemy fighters using just machine guns. it was similar to the mig 15 and aswell wasnt much more technologically advanced, the sideweinder missile was introduced during the vietnam war but saw little use. (the VC had little - no airforce) the missiles main selling point was during the Taiwanese strait crisis where the enemy Mig's enjoyed a height advantage over allied planes, and once the Sideweinder was introduced it was effectively eliminated. it was introduced in 1949 and left service in 1956, last remaining in service in the bolivian airforce until 1994.it was manufactured by the North American Aviation company. designed to be a fighter, it was specified to be an air-air fighter and whilst in service it did a great job at it.

but it has 4 ports to carry external weapons, mainly it carried 2 missiles leaving the 2 outer ports unused. sometimes carrying 2 drop tanks on either end for long ranged missions if need be. it sports 6x M2 Browning machine guns mounted at either side of the nose

Sidenote: the left detacher for the missile isnt set to 6 and hasnt the detach force set to 20% and while your at it, disable collisions :) and the missile itself should be armed at AG 5, i was having problems with the missile detaching from the fueslage decorations so i mirrored it, and didnt check it before uploading
