Raytheon MQM-121 Spearhead
[Info]
The Raytheon company developed in the 1990s a new model of the MQM drone series for aerial reconnaissance with hypersonic capability. The result was the MQM-121 Spearhead. A super-specialized aircraft, without armament, with very high maneuverability and a semi-stealth cut. For its construction, the wings of the F-104 Starfighter and elements of the fuselage of the Lockheed U-2 were used. In this way the cost of the plane was reduced considerably. They were built 60 devices that provide support to the United States Army.
