1944 The Nazis are on the losing side, after the Allies picked up their game.

German towns and supply depots are getting peppered with bombs and destroying the facilities, hindering the production of alloys for the axis war effort. With the Hitler Youth ready to sacrifice their life for German superiority, and a need for well air defence there was a spot for a fighter to be born.

LIA didn’t and never has avoided producing craft for moral reasons. Maybe a couple times, if it was too barbaric. Because progress must be made, whatever the cost.

Constructed with not engine fuel, but a mix between rocket fuel, high explosive and Nitromethane to propel it to great speeds.

The craft had a 70% Pilot fatality rate, but a KDR of 4.3
Th craft used many unethical procedures to achieve this, but the Hitler Youth were as determined as Japanese kamikaze pilots, and were ready for battle. Whatever the cost may be.

The landing gear was detachable, because it was deemed extra weight, in case you did make it home you would simply pilot it down into a field. Ejection seats were also deemed extra weight as if you were shot down the fuel would combust and decimate the craft. The craft had a warhead in its front, similar to the Ohka, in case of a mission failing the pilot would guide the plane into an enemy bomber.

Niedergeschlagen/Geknickt (German origins) = Crestfallen into english.

AG=1 Detach landing gear. Goodbye, brave pilot.
Combat smoke cannot be turned off, and presumably will not have to be.
