[About Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 Carrier Attack Bomber]

Wikipedia
The Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 Carrier Attack Bomber is a naval strike aircraft (Torpedo bomber) operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy.
In 1935, the IJN ordered Nakajima Aircraft and Mitsubishi to build a prototype as a successor to the Type 96. Nakajima's design (No. 1) was ambitious, with a slender fuselage, foldable wings, and retractable main landing gear. On the other hand, Mitsubishi's design (No. 2) was conservative, including fixed legs. The result was that both were adopted. It is said that this was because there was no significant difference in performance between the two designs. Later, however, the focus of production shifted to a model (No. 3), known as the B5N2, which had improved performance by changing the engine of the Nakajima proposal (No. 1) to the Sakae 11 type.
The B5N2 was immediately deployed in the Sino-Japanese War, and began to achieve good results. In the attack on Pearl Harbor, which started the Pacific War, 143 B5N2s were deployed, and they achieved great results in the lightning attack.
They were also deployed in carrier battles such as the Battle of the Coral Sea and the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands, where they achieved great success. On the other hand, the characteristics of the Torpedo bomber, which approached enemy ships at low altitudes and low speeds, meant that losses began to increase. In particular, as the accuracy of anti-aircraft fire on the U.S. Navy vessels increased, the aircraft suffered heavy losses.
By the end of the war, more than 1,400 B5N2s had been produced, but no B5N2s remain in perfect condition.

[About the work]
The cockpit is roughly reproduced.
I have not verified this because I do not have Simple Planes VR. Sorry.

Sometimes online information on high precision models is useful for builds in SP.
