Without winglets and extended length, the Queen of the Skies once again was made it's final generation as the 8 series in the 2000s fitted with new engine and all-new cabins with First, Business and Econmy especially Signature classes. Only 8 747-8Is were delivered to Nanhua Airlines between 2006 and 2007 to mark the end of ordering the Boeing 747s while having 747-300s and 747-400s on their fleet still in service.
