Heinkel Glass build 2.6

4.2 years ago
Auto Credit Based on RamboJutter's Heinkel "Gewächshaus" 2.4
Introduction
Ze germans where always coming up with cunning plans and after some not-so careful consideration they decided to use this wonder material called plastic to wrap an aircraft in instead of using metal or fabric as in the past. The idea was to make the aircraft seethrough and thus harder to see with the naked eye. Fitted with a new fangled Jumo jet engine it was an "interesting" experiment (dont tell them it will melt though...)
Controls
VTOL dn for flaps, everything else is simples
Notes
Until we are out of beta Nvidia Geforce experience isnt supporting in game screenshots so you have to make do with boring backgrounds, sorry.

I think germany actually tried to do this in WW1 lmao
@ChrisPy I recall a major faction in ww1 (most likely Germany) tried to use glass (or something transparent) to make their biplanes harder to spot. Unfortunately it was highly visible due to it reflecting the sun's rays
The Soviets tried to (IDK the material but it wasn’t plastic) and were kinda sucsessful in the fact that it was hard to see. But the material gained opaqueness if left in the sun so it became opaque after 2 weeks. @ChrisPy
Awesome!
I made an invisible plane already
Wonder women.... @ChrisPy
Very nice skin on frame aircraft!
I wonder if anyone tried to make a see-through plane for combat in rl...
