The Starcrest United/Starbound Dynamics SCF-58 Ranger was originally built in 2000 to rival the F-15 Eagle. It first took flight in 2003 but wasn't successful in outperforming the Eagle. Although it wasn't successful in the West, it saw many customers in the East, such as Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Africa, and New Zealand.
