North American Aviation F-86 Sabre
North American Aviation f-86 Sabre is the first generation of fighter aircraft designed by the United States after world war ii to be used for air combat, interception and bombing. The f-86 first flew on October 1, 1947, and was commissioned in 1949, the most successful American jet fighter in the early years of the United States. In addition to a large number of variants and military aid, the model also derived a naval variant of the FJ fury series. The f-86 is the world's first aircraft to reach supersonic speeds during a dive, and the first fighter aircraft to carry air-to-air missiles. This type of air opponent is the Soviet mig-15.
