The HLS-5A "delta" it's a small reusable spacecraft based on the dream chaser and the buran space shuttle from the soviet union , it's designed to be launched on a Atlas V core (for LEO) or a Atlas V normal configuration for a 550km high orbit.
It was designed to be recovered on runway or mid air by a C-5COI , it's 1st flight was on May 2nd of 2012 from a small launch pad located near the colombian caribbean, it launched succesfully and landed a few hours later on the gulf of México with no issues after the landing
