Auto Credit Based on DustyT33's X-00 Rotary NASA - Coated
Half a year old build, was my second piston powered plane, and the first one to actually look decent. Made it so the piston mechanism looks kinda like a jet engine. Posting my unlisted stuff cuz i've been inactive on simpleplanes, including in the discord servers i joined.
Start at wright final approach, then slow down until it's around 150 mph. Then you can drag the VTOL all the way down and throttle up to 90% power. Keep cranking the VTOL up bit by bit till you reach the top speed of around 230mph under 10000 feet. Kinda tedious, I know, but idk why but it jams at over 90% power and if you just drag the VTOL and throttle right away the pistons might break. Also trim opens the "piston engine bay".
