    jsaret's famous guide (that totally, definitely wasn't written on the spot) on whether or not a conglomeration of parts is an "airplane:"
    If the aforementioned conglomeration meets these one (1) standards, then jsaret considers it a plane, officially.
    1. It flies, as in, doesn't just drop straight down. Can be powered by gravity or petrol.
