a night raid fighter-bomber, the Popocatepetl represents a decent leap forward in engineering capabilities by DHE. featuring a larger cockpit and rounded wingtips, the aircraft presents a unique silloughete when compared to earlier DHE fighters. the craft is well-armed, with two forward-facing 50mm cannons controlled by the pilot, and a pair of fire-linked machine guns (ACT 1) controlled by a rear gunner in a now-common rear turret. the plane carries a sizeable 1000 lbs of bombs in various forms, most commonly in 4 250-lb explosives. the aircraft retains a sizeablen speed even with this extra weight, and has proved highly succesful in trials.
