This fighter is developed on the basis of MiG-15bis. It adopts a conventional aerodynamic layout of swept wings, single-seat, push-to-weight ratio of 0.57, equipped with 1 37mm cannon and 2 23mm cannons, with a maximum flight speed of 1100 km/h and a range of 2000 Kilometres. The MiG-17 fighter was designed in 1948, began test flights in December 1949, and entered the former Soviet Air Force service in 1952. The MiG-17 has several improved models, the most important of which are the MiG-17F daytime fighter and the MiG-17PF equipped with radar with all-weather combat capability. A total of 10,367 models of the MiG-17 series were manufactured. In addition to being produced in the Soviet Union, China, Poland, the Czech Republic and other countries are also authorised to imitate and mass produce, so there are many derivative models. The MiG-17 was later gradually retired and replaced by a supersonic MiG-19 fighter [1]. According to the China Aviation News in April 2021, the Migaoyang Design Bureau (OKB-155 Design Bureau) chose a MiG-17 fighter to be modified and replaced with two Em 5A engines to develop a supersonic fighter.

Do you know the aggressor plane?
They once stole a Vietnamese MiG-17 and brought it to the US, then attached their USAF logo to the plane, and used it as a target plane.
