Pelican-class L-Variant Float Plane
The Pelican-class Float Plane is the first successful float plane created by the Len Lo'ng Ken nation [Len-Lohng-Ken], somewhat surprising given their affinity for water going vessels. It is powered by a 6 cylinder [Fire Stone] inline [Magic] engine, capable of outputting the 450 hp required to get the airplane into the air from the water. It's main roles were observation, shoreline patrol, light bombing, and torpedo bombing. A slight adjustment was made to the plane, the addition of wheels, resulting in the L-variant, L for Land. Not as easy to take off from the water, due to the extra drag the wheels provide, but it was still possible. (Remove the wheels for the original type) To take off in the original, put the throttle to 100% and let the plane build up speed to about 67 mph, then pull up and it should lift off after a bit. The L-varient requites a funky rocking motion and is a bit trickier, but still possible. The rear gun is controlled by the VTOL slider and is three wing guns clipped together for a proper fire rate.
