GP-77 ''Klingon''
This was made for the Parasite Fighter challenge and is my first successful VTOL plane. This plane is compact and lightweight as it's meant to be carried as a parasite plane. That also means it doesn't need much range, so this carries a relatively small amount of fuel. It is fast and agile in powered flight, a decent gun-armed fighter. As the recovery mechanism for the fighter wasn't specified, I've tried to make this flexible. The VTOL ability can help this match speed with the mother craft if mid-air recovery is intended. It also allows this to land on any flat piece of ground. Finally, as an emergency measure, the plane has buoyancy. If it has to ditch in the sea, the pilot can cling to the tail and await rescue.

I've managed to get a plane big enough to carry it but not to big that it crashes my iPod
@epicness Me too! I had about 10 attempts before I managed a successful landing.
Amazingly armed and nimble,
Too bad I suck at landing vtols
