I.A.N main plane until 1985

Project history

The first plane drawings were made in 1954, when I.A.N issued some requirements for a new plane
These requirements were:
•The plane had to be supersonic
•It had to have high maneuverability
•High load capacity
•To be an air superiority fighter and secundary Anti-ship capacity

Despite the apparent difficulties, Escarti made a concept for the fighter that would become this plane
The concept was this: An "fast air assault aircraft"
which aimed to use tactics that quickly destroyed the enemy Aircraft, such as the Boom n' Zoom. In addition, aircraft should be fast and agile, and with the fastest acceleration possible.
The project began to take its first steps in 1958, and was greatly accelerated due to the Vietnam war, and with that the Prototype flew in 1960, and 50 were ordered 500 units, delivered in 1961

Service

The combat debut was made in an attack on Vietnam, in which the plane was shown to be very effective against the soviet MiGs, with no losts
The plane served throughout the cold war, always being very successful, with minimal loss rates.
And it is still in service today in some countries, and modernizations are being carried out frequently.
Although not very successful in the anti-ship function, this aircraft sector was practically deleted

Creator's Note

This plane was initially supposed to be a fast 2-hour build, but those two hours ended up "going a lot slower" and it took me 2 days to complete, and the result was one of the planes that i liked the most to build. It's very maneuverable and relatively realistic, as well as probably having my best cockpit (it was supposed to have pedals, but I forgot, I'll make another version soon and it will include pedals)

AG1: Engine on/off
AG2: Weapons
AG3: Jettison weapons
AG4: Carrier landing cable

Note that this plane is unstable with jettisoned weapons (Look on the bright side, it can do a COBRA!) And landing takes practice, although it's not really difficult and it's very satisfying.
