TWS ''Assailant''
"The Assailant missile from Talon is a perfect weapon solution for precision strikes against motivated opponents."
Well, that's what the Star Citizen website says about it, but I assure you, the same can not be said about this.
At best, its a mediocre-functioning missile with a high part exterior
At worst... Either a missile skewed to one side or the other, either, depending on the person, making it so busted that its used constantly (where the missile just gets ripped out of the exterior because well that's inevitable with a missile made of 300 parts), or its so part-heavy that no one uses it.
Scooting that out of the way, this missile has a 3-second lock time (compared to the Star Citizen 1.3 second lock time because.. how about no?). It has a maximum range of roughly 40km, and a minimum range of 3.5km.
It has multi-role functions, though this is better used on ground targets than air targets simply because of its significant explosion size.
It is waterproof if you for some reason want to use it underwater. It has a max targeting angle of 15 degrees and can fly for about two minutes.
"I kinda thought it was a lightsaber"
"Knowing you it’s going to have 20 different hidden features. Like it’ll just grow legs, start walking around and taking drink orders."
- DeadlyDialga"This looks like its capable of reaching targets beyond the atmosphere"
- LIQUIDconsumer
I want to clarify, when you use this missile, you will see an empty weapon slot "x0" in Air-To-Ground mode. That is a bomb inside in order to increase the explosion size without creating a bunch of laggy shrapnel. I also find it looks better.
