Northrop T-38 Talon
"Every Paternian combat pilot and astronaut has flight hours logged in the Talon." -Col. Valerie Vickers, commander of PAF Air Training Command
The advanced trainer variant of the Northrop F-5 Tiger. While the fighter variant would not see much service with the US Air Force, the T-38 would see over 50 years of continuous service.
In the C&C Roleplay, the T-38 is the primary advanced trainer of the Paternian Air Force. It was selected over other types due to the low operating cost and similar performance to the F-5, then in service. It would be exported widely, seeing service with numerous military and in some cases, civilian operators. It was offically replaced by the TA-8C Hawk II in 2015, although it would see service until 2020, when the transition was completed.
