Yak-36 Soviet deck attack aircraft, prototype of the first serial vertical takeoff and landing airplane in the USSR
The project was closed, as the low payload capacity of the aircraft made it unpromising, and soon the Design Bureau began development of the Yak-36M combat aircraft, which received the designation Yak-38 after its adoption into service.
