Because 8 wheels wasn't enough! This thing has ten wheel drive and eight wheel steering. Drive by activating group 1, flip yourself upright by activating group 2 and pulling the brake, reverse by activating group 3 and pitching down. because of the questionable wheel physics an the disproportionate wheel brakes, this vehicle has a tendency to endo when braking from high speeds, why the flipper is there. this can be corrected by removing the middle wheel subassembly, all the wheel assemblies on this vehicle are modular, quarter block, shock, quarter block, wheel, simple...planes, lol.
