An early civillan airliner, the SAA 110 was put into service in 1943. Serving inbetween the two airports on Wright Island, the 110 had limited profitability, and thusly, had a short lifespan in regular use, being mostly retired in 1965. One airline, Krakair, still uses the SAA 110.
