MiG-15
Presenting...
The Mikoyan-Gurevich-15!!
I hope I spelled that right...
To be honest there's not a ton special about this replica, it's just a quick build just for fun. Has a little minigun tucked in the corner for dogfighting and I added afterburner looks for fun :). Flight model is pretty good especially compared with some of my other planes. Suspension is a little bouncy, probably because I am using the built-in suspension for each wheel rather than a shock, but overall its a pretty nice plane for like an hour build time.
For the real plane, however, there's tons interesting about it. It is one of the most produced jets ever and there's a lot to be said about it, so instead of making you scroll through a giant section of copied and pasted material from the wiki I'll give you the link here.
In case you've noticed (which nobody probably has), both of the replicas that I have built (this plane and the A-10) have RC counterparts by E-Flite. I'm going to make this a trend for the future because I am much more familiar with these RC models than the actual planes, and can base the livery or flight characteristics off of the replica RC. Therefore, if you have any suggestions for planes that have an E-Flite counterpart, please suggest it as I am always open to suggestions and will probably do a build similar to this quick one for that plane.
Enjoy simpleplanesing!
