Cyclone Aerospace F-46A

The F-46A is a canard-delta fighter, drawing heavy inspiration from 4.5 Generation planes like the Eurofighter Typhoon and Dassault Rafale. The aircraft was ordered after other 4.5 gen planes from other countries were brought into production. The F-46A is mostly used in defense roles, although it has been approved by the Air Defense Department for use in standard fighter and strike roles. Most often Accilian fighters are equipped with ABR-012 Air to Air/Surface adaptable radars, allowing the radar locks to achieve both AA and AG locks.
The XF-46 experienced maneuverability issues similar to the F-45, although the weight was not the problem: the lack of experience with this form of aircraft was. There were many issues with finding the optimum wing flap configurations and it was decided to just scrap those entirely and just rely on the canards for pitch control.
The powerplant comprises of a single afterburning turbofan engine, augmented by two turbojet engines for a slight thrust augmentation.
The F-46 has the standard Accilian armament of 8 AMRAAM missiles, 4 Hellfire missiles, and 2 Sparrow missiles (I confused them with sidewinders in the past.). It might be interesting to note the lack of guns. The main reason for this is weight and maintaining agility, which is a high priority in Accilian builds. (Agility is meaningless in modern air combat but its not fun flying an aircraft that can’t turn whatsoever) However, provisions are still made in the pods next to the cockpit.

CONTROLS:
AG1&2: AMRAAMs
AG3: Hellfires
AG5: nosewheel steering
AG6: Chutes
