This is an aircraft based of the concept for the convair pogo XFY-1. Great planes (RC Plane manufacturer) has a plane very similar to this plane and they market it as a VFO. (Vertical flying object) It's mounted like this to make the RCN thrusters work properly. In vertical flight you control it in a rather unusual way for most pilots. If you are a 3D RC pilot you will probably get the hang of it easier. (Basically normal plane hover) To take off slide the VTOL-slider up and wait for the plane to finish moving. Then throttle up to 45% and hit activation group 1. The plane will slowly start climbing. Landing this plane is very hard and requires a master pilot. Let me know if you managed to land it in the comments.
