The M49B4A7 GMC, also known as the M49 Tiger was an experimental tank destroyer created by the United states military during the early Cold War to combat T-44 and T-54 tanks from the Soviet Union in Europe.

MODIFICATIONS
This tank destroyer is based off the M36B2 GMC. It was given a bigger 90 mm gun without a muzzle brake, a coaxial machine gun, and three experimental mini Hydra rocket pods. Armor was taken off of scrapped Sherman tanks and welded and bolted to the upper frontal plate and side armor plates of the M36 hull, as well as the turret mantlet, sides, and rear ammunition storage. The pre-modification armor on the M36 was 36mm on the front, and 19mm on the sides and rear. The turret armor was 76mm on the mantlet, 31mm on the sides, and 21mm in the rear. Post modification added armor onto the front sides and rear of the turret and hull that effectively tripled and quadrupled the effective armor to 77.6mm, and 37 mm to the sides. Side skirts were also added to protect the tracks and the vulnerable areas behind the tracks where the extra ammunition was stored. Due to it being about 2 1/2 feet away from the actual hull, the effective armor protection from HESH rounds would have been 300 mm. Armor was also added to the sides of the turret and the turret cheeks increasing that to be effectively 90 mm of armor. Small plates of armor were added to the mantlet too, although that did not increase the armor on the mantlet much. Thick added around the ready rack behind the turret increasing that armor from 27 mm to 55 mm.

Edit: this thing DOES NOT LIKE HILLS. It had a 120hp engine, but I beefed it up to 225hp. it is 15 tons and I tried it out on the level where you have to destroy the convoy and I could barely make it up a hill.
