R1 Seagull Race Challenge

3,436 TailessAce  4.6 years ago
Auto Credit Based on CrazyPenguin1306's Race Challenge (CLOSED)

The R1 consists of mostly a licensed built F4U Corsair body, gear and wing with a counter rotating propellers. The engine is unknown but produces 2900 hp to the two 5 propeller blades. The Heavy Duty Radiator sits at the bottom to cool the experimental engine. The Fuselage has been bathed, stripped and slimmed to have no drag, thus lowering weight. Combining with the inverted gull wing. It’s very maneuverable, perhaps the most maneuverable in SP.

Landing speed: (with trim) 20 - 42mph

Top speed: 755-758 (varies through altitude)

Do not exceed 1,000 mph

Even though it is named after a sea bird do not land it in the sea

Spotlights

@FearlessAce Umm...well I can do my best to describe to you where it crashes, so when you first take off it lifted then turned and crashed next to the starting point, then it lifted off the ground and was doing well and went into the water after it started diving, that was after the runway ended.
