Pre-1914 Aviation Challenge
I dont know if the thumbnail is either cringe or cool
Welcome to the Pre-1914 Aviation Challenge!
After 4 months of being unlisted, I'm finally posting this challenge!
Here, you must make a PREVIOUS World War I plane
This goes from the "Pioneer Era" to wherever you want.
R U L E S
• No mods, only XML and fine tuner
• Must be designed before WW1 (although it may have operated on it)
• The speed must be VERY low (And accurate, Usain Bolt was faster than the first planes)
• The minimum quantity of parts is 170, the maximum is 420
• MUST be a successor
• Should work on low physics
• Must use period-accurate materials (basically wood and fabric, with very few metal parts)
• Infinite fuel is not allowed
• Other types of aircraft, such as airships, are allowed
some hints for noobs
To make your plane fly well at extremely low speeds, increasing the angle of attack of the wings helps A LOT.
See images of old planes, like the Bleriot XI, especially the wings. See how they are built and you will have a lot of help
I didn't put any rules about the weight of the plane, putting something like MassScale = 0.1
is allowed
PRIZES
First place: 20 upvotes and 3 spots of possible
Secund place: 15 upvotes
Third place: 10 upvotes
If you don't have the amount of planes needed for the upvotes, all your planes from the end of the challenge deadline will be voted, and only.

dw7f6q code for my entry
@Dragoranos it is dont worry
@nigonatta
MUST be a successor
hi im entering my plane
Ok
@MrCOPTY
Hi
@Dragoranos Hi
@StugnaATGM
Yes ik. But it helps a lot on really low speeds(I tested it and it seems to help more than increasing the LiftScale) as well as adding points of realism!
@Theaviation
yes they are allowed
@TheScrapyard
The wood rule is aesthetic but also little physical, don't paint your planes bright colors, but, for example, dont make the plane a armored flying machine, and also leave the planes light, all planes of that time were just structures for the wings and the engine, with absolutely zero concern about aerodynamics, so they were really light.
The minimum amount of parts is to ensure that there is some quality in the builds, and the maximum is for my phone not to die.
Is fictional aircraft allowed
I completely forgot about World War I and thought you just picked 1914 for no reason lmao
Also, to incerase lift, just put liftscale input on the wings, default liftscale is 1 btw
@TheScrapyard just reduce the health
Ok a few questions before I start.
There's no wood block so idk how to follow that rule. Why low physics and why so few parts besides being the funny number. Just wanna make sure the last 2 are limitations of your device (which sounds like a gen1 ipod touch) and that the first is actually possible or just has to be colored similarly.
