After the sucess of the boomrang, the RAAF had a new idea for a fighter/Trainer. Named after one of the most famous animals in austrialia, the dingo sported two 20mm cannons used to tear apart enemy aircraft. On paper it was a great idea. But when it actually flew, it had poor speed and was outturned by BF-109s.
