Auto Credit Based on XVIindustries's Lympne Trials Challenge 1923
This '34 beauty is the Aerostyle Model 17A! It features two 1,000 horsepower twin-bladed "pusher" engines! Because of this, it can reach speeds of over 320 miles per hour. It also contains a semi-pressurized cockpit for the pilot, giving this plane a very high service ceiling (for the time). It has two 0.303 machine guns licensed from the U.K. Out of the three prototypes that were built, only one of these masterpieces survives to this day and is housed in the Aerostyle Aviation Archive Hangar.
