This is an update to the changes in lift-off handling instructions for STO for those who had already download from my previous post.
After much testing, apparently the easier way was not to apply flap during the lift-off's process. You need to control with the rotator. The rest of the instructions remains. Apply flap only when necessary after lift off and during normal flight.
If you had already downloaded this plane from earlier post, there's no need to download again for nothing change to the physical of the plane.
Hope you have a successful flight. Thank you.

@Dragons103
You just need to add a gyroscope if you don't like the challenges of flying it manually. .
@Dragons103
Thank you. .
This is better than I can do... Awesome buddy!
@blindspot61 yup! They work magic. You can XML edit them to so that they fit your exact needs
@Mustang51
Apparently, by adding only a gyroscope solves all the 'old school' problems. . :D
@blindspot61 that’s good. An easy way to make it hover is with using a gyroscope. Also I just realised that the engines you’re using are the normal prop ones and not the helicopter ones. The helicopter ones should work well for this. You can make a custom propellor hub for them so that it looks better too
@Mustang51
Hi, I don't understand. I set the pitch to manual. My HP is at the lowest 1500. But the propeller kept overspeed and explode. Do you know what is the problem. BTW I have change the COM to slightly forward of the vertical thrust (so that when the plane lifted off, it won't move backward) and it now can hover longer.
@blindspot61 it’s no problem buddy! A lot of SP is just trial and error. It’s the best way to learn how to do various things because you will inadvertently learn about other aspects of it too.
@Mustang51
Thank you so much for the offer. Hope I am not a bother to you. I am not familiar with how to apply input to those various options. Need to do trial and error. And I also use the right thing in a wrong way too. . lol. . like I just blew 2 propellers after setting it to manual just now.. lol. .
@blindspot61 You can choose how you put that input. Usually it’s with the VTOL slider but also you can connect it to your throttle or trim slider. If you have any other questions about SP feel free to ask :)
@Mustang51
Oh one question if you don't mind. If I set the pitch to manual, may I know how do I control it? Which button? Thanks
@Mustang51
Oh, I didn't realize I can do that. . lol. You see, there are still many thing I don't know on the available options. There are many things I can learn from you. I'll look into it and see if I can make it better. Thank you for your input. . Appreciate it. . :)
@blindspot61 I don’t use a joystick either. You should make it able to have the pitch of the propellors changed manually so that it works well vertically
@Mustang51
Have you check out my you-tube video on how to lift off and fly. The link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZEaU0ajrGQ. It takes some practice though. And the problem is I don't have a joystick and my landing (any plane) in Simpleplanes sucks. I can land planes in War Thunder though.
Looks good but doesn’t take off or land well
@Mustang51 . .
My latest creation. I also make a video on how to lift-off and fly this plane. .
