Description
The T-55AMD-1 is a Soviet Cold War-era main battle tank, an upgraded version of the T-55, specifically designed to counter Western anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs). This variant features the "Drozd" active protection system, one of the earliest such systems, designed to detect and destroy incoming projectiles before they could hit the tank. The T-55AMD-1 also received enhanced armor, including the addition of composite materials to improve its survivability against modern threats. Despite these upgrades, it retains the 100mm D-10T2S rifled gun, typical of the T-55 series, and its overall profile remains compact, making it a reliable yet increasingly obsolete asset by the late 20th century.
Unfortunately due to in-game limitations, I could not get the DROZD APS system to work.
