Aircraft capable of quite high speeds and high-altitude flights, but also can go long range with reduced throttle. Both the main wing and canards have semisymmetric airfoils, so the the lift-generating potential of the forwad wings is not wasted. The aircraft currently carries two long range air-to-gnd projectiles so you can take out the dreaded destroyers and escape. It flies beautifully when one control surface is used at a time. But be gentle with manouevers using roll and pitch together - if done abruptly, the plane can enter into a remarkably interesting spin which might be hard to stop. The name of the plane is a mixture of two planes that inspired it - the SR-71 Blackbird and XB-70 Valkyrie, although it also carries the nickname "DoD", i.e. the "Destroyer of Destroyers".
